Neem Tree This Neem Tree stood before the door when I came out in the morning last time I was in the Ashram. This were the months of 2009 to 2010. But this was only in the beginning; before the people arrived I had to move. This was for Maha Shivaratri.

Peacock I just wanted to add the two beautiful pictures as the two were right under the Neem Tree. The Ashram is full of peacocks. I'll add the peacock tree right outside the Ashram later. They are not always present because the peacocks of this place have to feel very welcome.

Purani & Nala Nala is the dog of Purani. Sometimes she gets little ones that the Ashram then would sell for money. Not everyone agrees with this policy. Purani is the one who introduced me to the Ashram one day. Nala laughs with jaws trembling, when she sees you. And that day she would stand at my door.

Morning light The beauty of the morning light can never truly be captured. Swami says we should get up before daybreak. There is a unique energy being released before four thirty, and you can only capture it awake. One time I was sleeping and suddenly felt something like a wet dream, but it didn't stop. It was an inconceivable energy, like a blazing cocoon. And I could not accept its responsibility.

The C-Section The C-Section is actually a long shed and here are its two ends, one by the open windows of Krishna Mangala Swami. This is a story itself. He is the nicest person, but he snores like a beaver! You have to understand that these buildings have no ceilings, which Swami Premananda calls the natural airconditioning. And by some divine providence, I was quickly moved to -six rooms further, but at first Swami had misunderstood this! His room was number fourteen, and I moved to seven.

The night falls I admit not to been pleased when I had to go from the C-Section to a tiny room in the D-Section where it rained inside, but it was for the VIPS. Now I understand well in Premananda Ashram there is every kind of people, yet this includes VIPS. Swami likes to move us all over the place. The man professes to have been on every cubic centimetre of the grounds and also that there is embedded in every single room one specific tone vibration that will change you dramatically.

At the Girl-Section Women are very important inside the Ashram, which is completely unique in India. Already these girls below are - naturally - better disciplined than the boys at their age, but the whole Ashram is actually in the hands of young women from all over the world; but half of them are Indian and, all by all, as half of our children are orphans this chance of learning how to run a company would otherwise have remained something utterly unthinkable for many of them. All children help work.

Gauri & Amma Swami Premananda has been in the prison for 15 years. But two of his family members are still present inside living in the Ashram. He says it is the play of the Holy Mother that he is still inside the prison, and that, though he says every year that this is the year of his release, he knows the exact date when it will truly happen.

Krishna Mangala Swami That is the man I mentioned to you in the beginning. He used to have a small, pink Ashram for Krishna very close, but moved in here permanently. He is sitting in the small house garden of Swami Premananda on a special day. When Swami is present in the Ashram, he should go and see him at will. Swami has told a devotee they would reach enlightenment by merely looking at Krishna Mangala Swami. His presence however is controversial.

Something strange comes your way There is something very strange that I want to impart about my stay in the Ashram. Every time I thought that something should change, I looked at it and I thought, why this, why not like that then: He ordered the change directly from the prison! Even a few ugly things have occurred because of me. Large rows of plants got chopped out, and I was angry when they did it, to be moved where I had thought them, just to give one example. Just a thought! It was not my intent, or so I thought but I just couldn't believe it.

Bharata Shakti Trust Next to the C-Section is the old and beautiful circular-shaped dog shed that is now occupied by a family with twins. I had just admired the setting sun behind the road when I found them by Purani's in an atmosphere that was even more touching, really. Jothy who is the mother is working at the BST-office and has difficulties for her children to be looked after while she is at work: sometimes they're alone.

Justice for Kamalananda Swami Kamalananda goes back to prison. He is in another prison and of course, though this is much closer than Swami Premananda's place, unlike him, for some reason, Kamalananda is hardly visited. In other words, this is the true hero of my story and I felt therefore also someone to eagerly identify with, to copy him and be as great a devotee as he shows. www.justice-for-premananda.org/en/legal/facts/

Flowers along the way At the left side there is a well with water that is purified by special sound vibrations. In the evening one goes to fill their bottle and runs into this. This is my only remark.

Arrival Who recognizes the tree? Yes, it is the peacock tree that I promised. I'm not doing any tricks with this album, but picking my pictures nearly chronologically. Swami has arrived. He would come to the prayer hall, but of course he did not, and we were told he would be coming every evening to the BST-office. He was coming to have his birthday in the Ashram for the first time in fifteen years, when his mother passed away, and he told this had to mean something very special. Maybe he was coming out in 2010: still four months to go!
